Q: What types of events do you host at Costa Pacifica?
We welcome weddings, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, anniversaries, family reunions, corporate gatherings, and private celebrations.

Q: How much does it cost to host an event?
Private event pavilion & garden aceess starts at $1,000, with customized catering starting at $30 per guest, including dinner and one non-alcoholic beverage. We offer discounted guest accommodations for groups booking 8 or more rooms.
Q: What Event Spaces are Available?
Event Pavilion: Large covered space with a private bar, pool tables, and comfortable seating. Available for private events.
Tropical Gardens: Beautiful outdoor spaces available for private ceremonies and celebrations.
Yoga Shala: Open-air covered space for gatherings and activities.
Pool Area: Available for guest use, but exclusive access requires a full hotel buyout.
Q: How many guests can you accommodate?
We have seating for 70+ guests, with additional seating at the bar.
Capacity depends on the type of event and the spaces you plan to use. Share your estimated guest count with us in the inquiry form, and we'll help you find the best setup.
Q: If I have mobility issues, will I be able to do the Adventure Add-on?
Costa Rica is rugged and natural. You will need to be able to hike over rugged terrain, sometimes for extended periods. Many of our activities will include hiking and walking. If you have joint, feet, knee, or leg issues, or have difficulty walking for long periods of time over uneven terrain, we recommend attending the Retreat portion but skipping the Adventure Add-on.

Q: Do you offer on-site catering?
Yes! Origen, our on-site restaurant, offers catering with a chef on-site and customizable group menus for your event.
Q: Can we customize our menu?
Absolutely. We can work with you to choose a menu that fits your event, preferences, and budget.
Q: Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Absolutely! Our chef specializes in gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, and other dietary preferences. She sees these as opportunities to create delicious, thoughtful meals rather than limitations. Just let us know your needs in advance.
Q: Can we choose between an open bar and a cash bar?
Yes. We offer hosted bar options, where the event host covers drinks, and cash bar options, where guests purchase their own beverages.
Q: Can we bring our own food or alcohol?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted, with the exception of wedding and birthday cakes. All other food and beverage service must be provided by Origen Restaurant. We are happy to provide plates, forks, and cake service at no additional charge.

Yes! Hotel Costa Pacífica offers 24 guest rooms, allowing your friends and family to stay together and enjoy the celebration without traveling between venues.

Q: Do you offer discounted room rates for groups?
Yes. Groups booking eight or more rooms qualify for our special Tour Operator room rates.
Q: Is breakfast included with guest rooms?
Yes! Breakfast at Origen Restaurant is included with your stay.
Q: How many guests can stay in each room?
Our rooms offer two queen beds and accommodate up to four guests
Q: Can we rent out the entire hotel?
Yes! During green season (May - June and Aug - Dec 15), groups booking at least 18 guest rooms for two or more nights may qualify for exclusive use of the entire Hotel, including the pool, event pavilion, and tropical gardens.
Exclusive-use arrangements are subject to availability and minimum booking requirements. Contact us to explore your options.

Wedding & Event Planning
Q: Do you provide a wedding planner or event coordinator?
We can oordinate catering, room arrangements, and venue logistics.
We can also share vendor resources for photography, cakes, floral and decorations.
For full wedding planning, we recommend working with a dedicated wedding planner.
Q: Can we bring our own vendors?
Absolutely. You're welcome to bring your favorite photographers, florists, musicians, DJs, decorators, planners, and other event professionals.
We ask that we coordinate with your outside vendors to arrange setup and event details with our team in advance.
Q: Can we have live music or a DJ?
Absolutely! Live bands, DJs, and dancing are welcome! We ask that loud music wrap up by 9 PM.
Celebrations with exclusive use of the hotel may enjoy extended music hours, subject to local noise regulations.
Q: Can we decorate the event spaces?
Yes! You're welcome to personalize your celebration with flowers, decorations, and special touches.
Structural decorations or those attached to buildings, fixtures, or trees require advance approval to protect our property and gardens.
You can handle event breakdown and cleanup yourself, or for an additional $150, our team will take care of the cleanup.
Q: Can you help arrange activities for our guests?
Yes! We can help coordinate local tours to national parks, wildlife adventures, chartered boat rides, yoga classes and massage, and painting events to make your event a multi-day celebration.

Q: How far in advance should we book?
One of our specialties is making beautiful celebrations happen without years of planning! Unlike many destination wedding venues, we can often accommodate weddings and events with just 4–6 months' notice, depending on availability. Shorter timelines? We'd love to hear from you!

Q: Is a deposit required to reserve our date?
Yes. A 20% non-refundable deposit secures your date. Final guest counts, dietary needs, and payment are due 14 days before your event.
A separate $400 fully refundable damage deposit is also required and will be returned after the event, provided there is no damage to the property or equipment.
If plans change, cancellation fees are 50% with 15–29 days' notice, and 100% within 14 days of your event.
